On May 20, 2012 TCSSI awarded the Tampa Port Authority Operation’s and Security Departments with the Accommodation of Safety Awareness for their service during the Presidential visit in April.  The advanced preparation involved in such an event  requires detailed safety and security planning and intensive coordination with the Secret Service. Thanks to Mark Dubina, Vice President of the TPA Security Department and  staff representing both security and operations, this was accomplished with the highest degree of professionalism. The initiative displayed is a fine example of the cooperation that epitomizes what the TCSSI stands for.

This award notes that the actions of these three were above and beyond the call of duty.
